SITE CLEARANCE
The construction of an industrial building begins with the clearing of the site, which allows the land to be conditioned in order to continue with the foundations. In addition, it is necessary to make a series of researches about the nature of the soil.

FOUNDATION

The type of foundation required will depend on the project and the study carried out previously in order to know the characteristics of the ground, but as a general rule, the opening of braces and footings necessary to build a solid base will be carried out, since it will be in charge of transferring all the weight of the structure to the ground. Rigid structures made of mass concrete or corrugated steel and concrete are placed on the braces and footings, with a square or rectangular floor plan in the case of the footings. This mixture manages to ensure a great hardness and solidity, which manages to build a reliable base.

STRUCTURE

The structure of the building is made up of steel beams strategically placed to be able to stand on their own, as they are considered the “skeleton” of the building. Once the beams are in place, the building is enclosed as explained below.

The structure is generally made of metal and consists of steel beams or variable geometry frames. There are several examples and they are used according to the type of surface and use that is going to be given to the premises (tubular, pretensed, lattice, variable section profile, full web profile).
